Connection requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the high volume of requests, customers' preferred connection date may not be available. To get your preferrred date, please submit your application to start, move or stop your utility services as soon as possible.
Receiving and paying your monthly bill is simple with eBill, GRU's free, paperless online billing program.
To sign up for eBill you will need:
- Your GRU account number
- Your name exactly as it appears on your GRU bill
- At least one paper bill
